Submersible Pumps
We rent all kinds of submersible pumping equipment for different kinds of applications. Our service department or your own maintenance staff can install a temporary replacement pump in a permanently installed application while your pump is being serviced. Portable submersible pumps are available for sewage bypass, cofferdam evacuation, jobsite dewatering and other liquid transfer needs.
We are also able to supply all our submersible pumps with generators if adequate power is not available on the jobsite. Our Service Department will make the connections and phase the pumps to the generator together with the required length of cable and deliver the package to you ready to run.
Dewatering
Submersible dewatering pumps are ideal for pumping clean or dirty water without large solid content with a high degree of reliability and without the noise and fuel problems associated with engine driven pumps. Common applications are construction site dewatering, quarries, cofferdams or any other situation that requires the conveyance of water where electric power is available. These pumps are easy to install and are therefore an excellent choice for temporary or emergency applications. Pumping Services has submersible dewatering pumps from fractional to over 100 HP in both high head and high flow versions. We also offer slim-line dewatering pumps for usage in well casings or anywhere else that requires a slim pump diameter.
Pumps come standard with 50’ of cable and a manual control box. Automatic controls, hose and additional cable can be added to meet your needs. Pumps through 7 ½ HP are available in single phase and 3 phase pumps are available in 240/460. We can generally accommodate 208 volt, 3 phase applications with buck boost transformers.
Trash
Submersible trash pumps are used for pumping sewage or other wastewater containing larger solids without the noise and fuel problems associated with engine driven pumps. Common applications range from small pumping stations to large sewage treatment plants as well as anywhere water containing solids needs to be pumped. These units are available in portable versions as well as permanently installed on guide rails for quick removal without entering the wet well. These units are frequently rented as temporary replacements while pumps are in for repair or as pumps for temporary sewage bypass.

Submersible grinder pumps are used for high head low flow domestic sewage applications in single-family homes, office buildings or smaller commercial establishments. These pumps grind the solids entering the station so that they may be pumped out through small diameter force mains that are inexpensive to install. These units are available in portable versions as well as permanently installed on guide rails for quick removal without entering the wet well. These units are frequently rented as temporary replacements while pumps are in for repair.

Slurry
Submersible slurry pumps are used for pumping applications containing heavy concentrations of abrasive solid wastes such as sludge, slurries, slag or other industrial applications containing grit. These units are manufactured with abrasion resistant materials and are available in portable versions as well as permanently installed on guide rails for quick removal without entering the wet well.
